Singapore Trade and Industry Bureau announced consumer goods - announcement of the tube cargo (CONTROLLEDGOODS), must meet the safety standards. This is also required for the Singapore Consumer Protection (Safety Specification) registration scheme.
 
In order to apply for PSB certification, the product must be made by the company in Singapore as a license to apply for PSB (the company to provide Singapore business, can be used as a PSB certification for the application of the Holder). Products in the PSB before they can enter the Singapore sales.

The Singapore Standard Productivity and Reform Commission (SpringSingapore) is the Product Safety Department, which is developed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, in charge of the Consumer Protection (Product Safety Requirements) Registration Program (CPS). As of April 1, 2002, Consumer Protection Regulation No. 1991 was replaced by Consumer Protection Regulation No. 2002. The new regulations require that product safety compliance be based on a third-party certification body's test evaluation. There are 45 categories of products belonging to the control class compulsory certification products.
