Under normal circumstances, CB or NCB CBTL test must be conducted laboratory. Since 1996, CB introduced three new test program: TMP, SMT, and CB-FCS.
TMP is an abbreviation Testingat Manufacturer's Premises means testing in the manufacturer's site. This program allows officers to NCB or CBTL perform CB testing laboratory business, provided that the laboratory meets the requirements of ISO Guide 25.
SMT is the acronym for Supervised Manufacturer's Testing means testing for the supervised manufacturer. This program allows businesses to test their implementation of CB, provided that the company's laboratory meets ISO Guide 25 and 58 requirements. Generally, when companies began to be included in a SMT program, NCB will be sent to the factory or CBTL monitoring test; As companies continue to perform the test the reliability of higher end enterprise can be completely independent of the test. Test is completed, the test reports and samples submitted to the NCB review.
CB-FCS is a CB-Full Certification Service's acronym, which means fully certified for the CB service. This program allows companies to submit test reports only to the NCB, but not required to provide samples, provided that the company's laboratory must meet the requirements of SMT, while enterprises are consistent with ISO Guide 53 quality management requirements.
